All screenshots were captured in Unity 2022.3.19f1 using the Universal Render Pipeline (URP).
This asset is compatible with both URP and the Built-in Render Pipeline. (When switching pipelines, just convert the materials.)
Key Features
🔹 Optimized Shared Materials
- All buildings share a common material set for walls, trims, windows, doors, and pavements.
- AO (Ambient Occlusion) maps are applied via the second UV channel for realistic self-occlusion.
- First UV channel is used for tiling textures (bricks, plaster, windows, etc.) → reducing memory use and draw calls.
🔹 Lighting Flexibility
- Realtime Lighting: AO works without lightmap baking for dynamic lighting setups.
- Baked Lighting: For baked scenes, enable Generate Lightmap UVs in the Mesh Inspector and remove AO maps from materials.
🔹 LOD + Low-Poly Support
- Each building includes LOD versions, reducing triangle counts for distance rendering.
- Additional low-poly variants are included for mobile and VR projects, or can be used as LOD stages for high-quality buildings.
