Reads config from your own server (any URL) or Google Firebase over REST. Firebase is optional, not bundled, and has its own terms and pricing past the free tier: https://firebase.google.com/terms. A local backend is included, so it runs with no account. Once your game is live you need to change things without shipping an update: turn a feature on or off, push a notice, force an update, kill a broken feature, run an A/B test. Building that control layer is time you spend away from the game.


This is that layer, ready to use:

- Remote config values you change from your backend, with no app update

- Feature flags to turn things on and off per build or audience

- Force update, and a softer "update available" hint

- Kill switch and maintenance mode with a message

- Message of the day

- Deterministic A/B tests


Add it, point it at a JSON URL, and press Play. The demo runs on a local backend with no setup. When you are ready, switch to your own server or Firebase with one setting.


Requirements

- Unity 2021.3 or newer. Built-in, URP and HDRP. No third-party packages required.
