Build a mech, then fly it into battle.

Sci-Fi Mech Side-Scroller Kit is a complete starter kit for side-scrolling mech action games — with a hangar-style MECH ASSEMBLY SYSTEM as its centerpiece.

━━ MECH ASSEMBLY HANGAR ━━

• Slot-based part swapping: lower body, upper body (arms), chest, head, backpack, right/left weapons

• Live part cycling with ◀ ▶ buttons — see the mech change instantly

• Auto-Fill: drop a prefab with the right name prefix into the kit folder and it registers to the correct slot automatically

• Per-slot position/rotation offsets, weapon X-mirroring (author once, equip both arms)

• Save/load presets, one-click random builds

• Press SORTIE and play the demo with the exact mech you assembled

━━ PLAYABLE SIDE-SCROLLER DEMO ━━

• Walk, jump, fuel-based jetpack hover, dash, shooting

• Configurable enemies via ScriptableObject (health, speed, projectiles, FX, SFX)

• Camera follow with high-jump lift, HUD, hit/explosion effects

• Weapon parts carry their own muzzle, projectile and muzzle flash; backpacks carry the jetpack thruster effect

━━ ITANO-STYLE MISSILE VOLLEYS ━━

• Homing missile swarms with staggered launch, speed variation, curving smoke trails and converge-on-target behavior — one component, fully tunable

━━ PLATFORMS ━━

• Ping-pong moving platforms that carry the player

• Auto-scrolling platform spawner for endless runner sections

━━ MAKE YOUR OWN PARTS ━━

• Naming rules + included Blender skeleton generator script (standard bones + sockets) — export FBX, make a prefab, Auto-Fill, done

• Robot showcase viewer with rotation, framing and info panels

━━ TECH ━━

• Unity 2022.3 LTS, Built-in Render Pipeline

• 100% C# source code, no DLLs

• English documentation: QuickStart.pdf (5-minute setup) + Manual.pdf (full reference)

• Demo scenes: Title → Assembly Hangar → Playable Demo

• Mobile-friendly (Android landscape notes included)
