- Unity 6.3 (6000.3.17) / URP 17.3 - URP only. Not compatible with Built-in or HDRP without material conversion.
- 106 unique assets (mesh + material combinations), 42 model files (FBX), 76 materials, 2 scenes.
- Dressed demo scene: approx. 135,000 triangles at LOD0 (whole room, all props visible), 100 LODGroups, 4 realtime lights (1 directional sun + 3 point lights).
- Textures: 233 PNG textures - 25 at 2048x2048, 54 at 1024x1024, 106 at 512x512, 48 at 256x256. PBR Metallic workflow: BaseColor, Normal, Metallic, Ambient Occlusion.
- UV mapping: unwrapped, non-overlapping where AO maps are used.
- LODs: yes, for high-poly furniture (LOD meshes generated with Simplygon).
- Colliders: yes (mesh colliders on architecture, primitives/mesh on props).
- Rigged / animated: no. Curtain motion is shader-based (vertex animation).
- Lighting: fully realtime, no lightmaps included. Reflection probe and post-process volume included.
- Scripts: 1 (CM_FirstPersonController, C#, namespace CrimsonManor).
- Custom shaders: 3, hand-written URP HLSL (not Shader Graph).
- Dependencies: none beyond URP. Input System package recommended.
Victorian Library is a complete, hand-dressed two-story library environment for the Universal Render Pipeline. Open the demo scene, press Play, and walk through a finished room: floor-to-ceiling bookcases, a spiral staircase and balcony, a fireplace, and six tall windows with curtains moving in the breeze and sunlight cutting through the dust.
Everything is realtime - no lightmap baking required. The scene looks the way the screenshots look the moment you import it.
WHAT YOU GET
- VictorianLibrary_Demo - the finished, lit, playable room with a first-person controller (WASD + mouse, new Input System with legacy fallback).
- VictorianLibrary_AssetZoo - all 106 unique assets laid out on a labeled grid, each with its correct materials, so you can find and grab any piece in seconds.
- Reusable prefabs - bookcases, shelves, desks, chairs, lamps, books, the fireplace, window sets, curtains and god-ray effects are individual prefabs you can drop into your own levels.
- 3 custom URP shaders, built for this pack and reusable anywhere:Window Glass - screen-space refraction with a cheap mobile fallback.
Light Shaft - volumetric god rays with depth fade, view fade and procedural dust.
Curtain Breeze - vertex-animated cloth with correct shadows and SSAO (no skinning, no Cloth component). - Light Blocker - a ShadowsOnly volume that lets sunlight enter only through the windows, at any sun angle, with tuned shadow bias so there are no light leaks around the frames.
- LOD meshes for the high-poly furniture, wired into LODGroups.
- Post-process volume profile and lighting settings used in the screenshots.
- Plain-text manual with quick start, shader notes and FAQ.
CLEAN, MARKETPLACE-READY ORGANIZATION Every asset follows a strict naming convention (SM_ meshes, M_ materials, T_ textures, P_ prefabs, SH_ shaders; _BaseColor / _Normal / _Metallic / _AO texture suffixes) and the scene hierarchy is grouped into Architecture / Furniture / Props / Effects. Textures follow a per-category size budget with streaming-friendly import settings, and GPU instancing is enabled on all materials.
HOW REUSABLE IS IT? This pack is a finished room, not a snap-together building kit. Furniture, props, window sets and effects are separate prefabs and can be freely reused and rearranged in your own scenes. The architecture (walls, floors, staircase, balcony) is authored for this room's layout - you can move and duplicate those pieces, but they are not designed as a grid-based modular kit for assembling new room configurations.
PART OF THE CRIMSON MANOR COLLECTION These rooms were built for our own title, The Inheritance of Crimson Manor, and are production-proven: every piece was optimized, lit and play-tested in a real game before being prepared for the store. Each room of the manor is released as its own pack. All packs share the same shaders, demo player and naming conventions, and common assets live in a shared folder, so packs combine cleanly in one project without duplicates. Also available: Victorian Study. More rooms coming.
REQUIREMENTS
- Unity 6.3 (6000.3) or newer.
- Universal Render Pipeline 17.x (the pack is URP-only; materials use URP Lit plus the three custom URP shaders).
- "Opaque Texture" enabled in your URP Asset for the glass refraction (or disable the refraction keyword for mobile).
- Input System package (optional - legacy input works as fallback).
SUPPORT Questions or issues: contact@mediacitygames.com - please include your Unity and URP versions. The art content is the product and is fully supported. The custom shaders and the demo controller are presentation helpers: we keep them working in the Unity/URP versions listed above, but they are not a gameplay framework and we do not customize them or port them to other pipelines.
