Advanced Hotspots for Game Creator 2 adds a flexible interaction layer to your Unity 6+ projects. Build responsive objects, cinematic inspection moments, contextual prompts, character reactions, and gameplay-driven feedback by stacking reusable Spots on one Advanced Hotspot component.
Choose how an interaction becomes active: shape proximity, GC2 interaction focus or reach, pointer hover, pointer click, or always-active behavior. A host-wide Run When gate can leave the Hotspot always available, limit evaluation by distance, or require native GC2 Conditions.
Run enabled Spots in Parallel or Sequence, then choose Fire and Forget or Wait to Complete for observable finite work.
Design polished transitions with native GC2 decimal getters for Duration and Duration Out, flexible easing and scaled/unscaled timing. Use reversible visual, UI, MaterialPropertyBlock and camera effects; focus a camera on a GameObject and optionally follow it with a desktop pointer while temporarily suppressing supported GC2 camera controls.
Use built-in GC2 Instructions, Conditions, events and property getters, plus specialized Spots for Characters, IK, camera shake/FOV, audio, objects, and UI.
Separate optional integrations connect to Dialogue, Inventory, Stats, Quests, Behavior, Perception, Shooter, Melee and Traversal. URP rendering effects are available when the URP package is installed.
The module includes a custom Inspector, scene gizmos, runtime debugging, validation tools, optional-integration synchronization.
