2.5D Toolkit allow to easily create and manage 2.5D environments.

Use 2D backgrounds with sprites and 3D objects to create adventures like The Longest Journey, Broken Sword, Syberia and other great games.

Create your navigation area and place 2D and 3D objects working in Game View.

Forget about expensive 3D modelling software, complicated calculations, measurements and conversions after which meshes will often still require some adjustments.

Now you can do everything quickly and easily from within Unity.

Draw in Edit Mode as many walkable and non-walkable areas as you want without the slightest effort by switching from Game View to Scene View and vice versa then bake areas or create and save a mesh from them.

From version 3.1 you can build multilevel environments without the need to use planes.

Placing objects in Scene View by checking their position in Game view is a very demanding task which can be simplified by working in a 2D environment. Move, scale and rotate objects thus easily obtaining environment you want to build.

Place 2D and 3D objects in Game View exactly where you want them to be.

With the new "Auto position" option from version 2.03 you can place each sprite cut from the background image with a single click.

Build your scene just how you want others to see it.

What You See is What You Get.

Both perspective and orthographic cameras are supported.

2.5D Toolkit is able to automatically rate camera size/distance so sprites cut from background image won't need to be resized.

If you work in Orthographic projection you can take advantage of the new tool to resize character to get an even more accurate overview of your scene.

You may export in a file all objects data used in scene to create a new project from scratch.

Supports Tilemap.

2.5D Toolkit is suitable for creating environments for RPG games too.

Notice to users: with version 3.2, which will be released soon, the price of the asset will be increased.

The graphical interface has been significantly improved along with the process of creating multi-level environments.

The new version will also allow to export all game objects as prefabs, ready to be imported into your game, or as packages, to be imported into a new project.
