Camera Aim Assist is a modular and highly customizable aim assistance system for Unity.

Designed for both gamepad and mouse-driven experiences, it provides advanced target acquisition, configurable target scoring, context-aware assist modulation and runtime presets.

Unlike simple nearest-target solutions, Camera Aim Assist uses a multi-factor scoring system that allows designers to define exactly how targets should be prioritized. Target selection can take into account angle, distance, screen position, target size and current target bonuses, with customizable weights and curves.

The system also supports Context Modulation, allowing assist strength and correction angles to dynamically adapt to player movement and camera motion using user-defined curves.

Key capabilities include:

• Advanced target acquisition system
• Configurable target scoring
• Context-aware aim assist modulation
• Runtime presets using ScriptableObjects
• Continuous and manual assist modes
• Input-agnostic design
• Public runtime API
• Demo scene and example controller included

• Third-person shooters
