Capture Tool takes clean, high-resolution stills and image sequences straight out of your game or the editor, at a resolution higher than your screen.

Higher resolution than your display. Render any camera at 1x to 8x your current resolution. The frame is supersampled, not upscaled, so the result is genuinely sharper rather than just bigger. Useful for store capsules, press kits and marketing art that need to hold up at full size.

Transparent backgrounds. Capture with a real alpha channel so your subject drops straight onto any background in Photoshop, Figma or Affinity, with no manual cutting out.

Stills and sequences. Take a single frame on a hotkey, or record an image sequence at a fixed frame rate to assemble into a GIF or video.

Works where you work. An editor window (Window > OccaSoftware > Capture Tool) for one-click captures while building your scene, and a runtime component with configurable hotkeys, output folder and resolution multiplier for capturing in play mode or in a build.

Built-in and URP. Capture Tool uses the render-request path when a scriptable render pipeline is active, so it returns real pixels under URP instead of the blank image that a naive camera render produces there.

Output is PNG. In the editor the output folder is your project root; in a build it is the persistent data path.

Includes a sample scene and documentation.

Supported: Unity 6.0 LTS and up.
