This is a very easy to use mesh combine tool inside unity...
Tested in action in a lot of cases to have the lowest bugs and issues
Workflow is very easy:
1. Select your game objects in your scene
2. Press Group and combine button to combine your selected game objects into a single mesh at a same position of the original game objects with the new mesh light map uv generation
Note: Mesh combine solution is useful for some cases that you have a lot of small parts for your models... For example a building that made by a lot of modular parts
