Gamers.bet for Unity SDK enables game developers to add skill-based real-money competition to their Unity games without changing the core game experience. Real-money game modes are additional gameplay options for players, while the existing game and its core offering remain intact. Developers retain control over how competition is incorporated, presented, and played within their game, and the user experience remains native to the game, with no overlays or redirects.
The SDK provides pre-built client functionality for authenticating players, joining synchronous games and asynchronous tournaments, and displaying competition leaderboards.
The client SDK works with the Gamers.bet platform and developer APIs to support competition configuration, entries and results, player wallets and payments, geolocation, and age and identity verification. This allows developers to add real-money competition without having to build the underlying competition, payment, and eligibility infrastructure themselves.
Gamers.bet is designed to support skill-based real-money competition across a wide range of game genres and gameplay styles. Competition can range from player-vs-player, team-based, cooperative, or based on individual performance against the game environment, with results or scores used to determine rankings and leaderboard positions. Developers can define competition and payout formats around the metrics that matter to their game, including rewarding different achievements or performance metrics within the same competition. Developers determine how competition fits into their game and can tailor the experience to their gameplay and players.
Integration includes the Unity client SDK together with server-side communication with the Gamers.bet platform. Documentation, a sample Unity project, and reference implementations are provided to help developers integrate and test their implementation.
