Orbyteon Dynamic Follow Camera

Orbyteon Dynamic Follow Camera

by Orbyteon Studio

Price History +

Build a follow camera around your own target and input system. Tune target-relative height, distance, offsets, damping and field of view; supply motion from a Transform, Rigidbody or your own provider. Reusable Camera Profiles copy settings into each camera without sharing mutable runtime settings.

CHASE AND COCKPIT

The optional driver-eye adapter adds a configurable Cockpit view. Give each vehicle its own local eye position and orientation, adjust eye height, fore/aft offset and FOV, and return to Chase with independent Chase settings. The included demo hides only its explicitly owned opaque canopy renderers while Cockpit is active and restores them on view/target changes. Customer vehicles require their own suitable windshield/interior and anchor configuration.

INCLUDED

• Full C# camera source and provider extension points.

• Motion-responsive height, distance and FOV; orbit, recentering and transient zoom APIs.

• Camera obstruction handling and smooth return after clearance.

• Reusable Camera Profiles, custom Inspector and validation.

• Preview-first Setup Wizard with Undo; no automatic scene saving.

• Per-vehicle Chase/Cockpit adapter with bounded eye/FOV adjustment and Reset.

• Two-vehicle URP circuit demo with flat drivable surfaces, solid upright obstacles, responsive controls and contextual driving instructions.

• Selectable 24/36/48 m/s forward boost limits.

• Offline Quick Start, Manual, API, Cockpit, compatibility and troubleshooting documentation.

VERIFIED CONFIGURATION

Unity 6000.2.12f1 on Windows with URP 17.2.0 and its normal registry dependencies. The keyboard demo requires Input Manager (Old) or Both. The core camera is input-independent; connect customer input using the documented APIs.

The demo is a camera demonstration, not a general-purpose vehicle-physics, aircraft or racing-game framework. No claim is made for other Unity versions/platforms, Built-in/HDRP rendering, mobile/touch or gamepad driving. No aircraft, camera shake or target blending is advertised.
