Particle Studio Pro turns particle authoring into a workspace instead of one long inspector list.

Bring your own textures — or generate them right in the tool — compose an effect out of stacked emitter layers, tune it against a live preview, and export a ready-to-use prefab.

WHY IT EXISTS

Unity shows you one emitter as one long list of modules. Real effects are not one emitter: a fireball is a core, a glow, sparks and smoke. And the moment you want that effect inside a Canvas, particles stop sorting with your UI, ignore your masks, and refuse to scale with your Canvas Scaler.

Particle Studio Pro answers both problems.

SCENE OR UI — THE SAME EFFECT

Switch the target between Scene and UI Canvas, then export. UI effects ship with a renderer that bakes particles straight into the Canvas, so they sort with your UI, clip inside Mask and RectMask2D, and scale with your Canvas Scaler. No second camera. No render texture. No sorting tricks.

YOUR TEXTURES, UNDERSTOOD

The library browses every texture in your project as a searchable grid and sorts it into categories for you — fire, explosion, smoke, magic, lightning, water, impact, glow and more. Sprite sheets are recognised from their names: a texture called explosion_3x3 or fire_6x3 arrives as a 3x3 or 6x3 flipbook with the grid already set, and a grid overlay lets you confirm the cells at a glance.

You also choose what a sheet means. Animate plays the whole sheet over each particle's lifetime — an explosion. Random Frame gives every particle one cell and lets it keep it — a handful of confetti. Two very different effects from the same image.

ALREADY HAVE EFFECTS? BRING THEM IN

Import reads an existing Particle System hierarchy into an editable effect and tells you exactly what it had to simplify along the way. Your original prefab is never touched.

NO TEXTURES YET? MAKE SOME

A built-in generator draws particle textures procedurally — soft dot, spark, smoke, ring, star, flare and noise — so you can start an effect with nothing but the tool.

BUILT FOR REAL WORK

Every change is undoable. Effects save as .asset files you can search, categorise and reload with one click. The preview shows a live per-layer breakdown, so you always know which layer a particle came from. Motion paths — line, circle, figure-eight, arc, swipe — let you shape a trail against the movement it was made for.

WHAT IS IN THE BOX

This is a tool, not an art pack. No particle textures are included, and none are needed to start: the built-in generator draws 22 of them for you — soft dot, hard dot, glow, bokeh, ring, shockwave, halo, spark, streak, sparkle, four- and five-point stars, flare, beam, smoke, cloud, dust, noise, droplet, snowflake, swirl and chip — in one click, straight into your project.

For finished effects you will want your own artwork. Point the library at any folder of textures you own or have licensed, and Particle Studio Pro will sort it, detect the sprite sheets, and build effects from it.
