Seamless Surface Painter 2D - Tilemap is an editor tool for painting continuous textured 2D surfaces on Unity Tilemaps.


Create a surface layer, assign a texture, choose a brush, and paint directly in the Scene view using a familiar Tilemap workflow. The tool uses hidden Tilemap masks for authoring and generates textured mesh surfaces from the painted cells.


Use it to create floors, roads, carpets, dirt, snow, water areas, damaged zones, decorative overlays, and other 2D surfaces without slicing textures into small tiles or setting up Shader Graph materials.


Each surface layer has its own texture, tint, opacity, UV scale, rotation, offset, sorting settings, visibility controls, decals, and edge blending. You can build complex 2D maps with multiple independent surface layers and adjust their look at any time.


The package includes demo scenes, documentation, runtime query helpers, and a workflow designed for level designers, solo developers, and artists who want fast visual iteration inside Unity.
