StickerLab2D is a complete 2D sticker interaction system for Unity, designed for games and applications that need satisfying, tactile sticker placement without building the entire system from scratch.
Create stickers that can be picked up, peeled, moved, rotated, scaled and placed at runtime, with support for custom backs, animated sprites, holographic effects, foil effects, surface wear and per-sticker configuration.
StickerLab2D is designed to be flexible enough for anything from sticker books and decoration systems to collectibles, customisation interfaces, journals, photo boards, scrapbooks and interactive UI experiences.
Sticker Profiles:
StickerLab2D uses reusable Sticker Profiles to keep your sticker setup organised. Profiles allow multiple stickers to share common behaviour and visual settings while still allowing individual stickers to override properties where necessary. This makes it easy to create groups of stickers with consistent behaviour without forcing every sticker to use identical settings.
Visual Effects:
Give stickers more personality using built-in visual options including holographic effects, foil effects and surface wear. Holographic masks allow specific areas of a sticker to receive the effect while other areas remain unchanged, making it possible to create more detailed materials such as metallic highlights, holographic sections or selective foil details. Individual stickers can also override profile-level masks when unique artwork requires different effect placement.
Animated Stickers:
StickerLab2D supports animated sprite stickers, allowing stickers to retain their interactive behaviour while displaying frame-based animation. This makes it possible to create animated collectibles, creatures, icons, decorative elements and more without requiring a separate interaction system.
Runtime Placement:
Stickers can be placed in the scene beforehand or spawned dynamically during gameplay.Spawned stickers can begin directly in a held state, allowing players to immediately position and place them onto supported surfaces. Sticker scale, rotation and placement behaviour can all be configured to suit the interaction style of your project.
Built for Customisation:
StickerLab2D is designed around reusable systems rather than fixed artwork.
Use your own sprites, masks, animations and visual styles while keeping the underlying interaction system intact. Most commonly adjusted properties are exposed directly through the Unity Inspector, with tooltips explaining their purpose and behaviour.
