Vibrant Icons is a package designed to improve organization and customization within the Unity Editor. It provides tools to easily customize script icons, helping developers better organize their projects. Vibrant Icons can streamline your workflow and enhance visual clarity.
To launch the tool, simply navigate to the "Tools" menu in Unity, then select "Envi" followed by "Vibrant Icons".
Compatibility and Requirements:
- Unity Versions: The project is compatible with Unity version 2021.2.0f1 and later, and has been tested on versions 2021.2.0f1 and 2021.3.16f1.
- Platform: Developed and tested for Windows. Compatibility with macOS and Linux is expected but untested.
In the video showcasing the tool, cuts were made to maintain brevity. Additionally, note that when changing icons, scripts will reload upon saving, which may take a second or two. To streamline this process, especially when applying similar icon styles across multiple scripts, it's recommended to add and modify icons simultaneously rather than individually. The tool provides options for adding entire folders and drag-and-dropping multiple items to facilitate this workflow.
