GPFX produces very smooth and natural looking effects, while preserving artistic freedom. The core of the effect framework builds a state-of-the-art optimized Gaussian distribution implementation guaranteeing high-quality results.
The main focus is not performance, but high-quality effects. Nevertheless the included Gaussian Bloom is slightly faster than Unity's standard Bloom.
