Build striking stylized planets for space games, strategy maps, title screens, educational experiences, and interactive backgrounds. Planet Shader Studio brings the visual and efficiency intent of the publisher-owned QSS project into a clean, modern Unity 6 package.
Create distinctive worlds without bundled textures: shape procedural oceans, continents, mountains, ice, clouds, city lights, atmosphere, aurora, and an optional data grid. Six ready-to-use profiles provide Terran, desert, frozen, volcanic, toxic, and neon looks, while every important visual parameter remains editable.
Choose Eco, Mobile, Balanced, or Showcase quality. The included LOD meshes and per-instance MaterialPropertyBlock workflow let you spend detail only where the camera can show it. Four sample scenes demonstrate quick setup, quality comparison, a WebGL showcase, and the complete profile gallery.
The exact package was validated in Unity 6000.3.21f1 with Built-in, URP 17.3, and HDRP 17.3. URP WebGL 2 was run visibly in desktop Chromium. Android arm64 IL2CPP builds successfully; no mobile-device FPS or iOS compatibility claim is made. HDRP is intended for desktop/editor use, not WebGL or mobile.
The package contains no geographic datasets, legacy branding, third-party art, fonts, audio, textures, models, plugins, or external runtime libraries. Offline documentation covers setup, authoring, runtime control, pipeline compatibility, profiling, troubleshooting, and support.
